Chris： Hey Hey!  So let me hear it from the beginning.  How did you two lovely ladies get interested in music?
クリス： 最初から聞かせてね。まず、音楽に興味を持ったのはいつからかな？

Ucca Laugh： We both started out very young with piano and dance.  It was such a natural evolution to enter the music world!
ユカ： 2人とも小さいころから、ピアノ、ダンスをやってたので自然と音楽には興味を持ったよ。ちなみに、Tomokoのお母さんは音楽の先生です。

Chris： What made you decide to join up with us on making ‘Till Death?
クリス： 忙しいのに曲を作ってくれて本当にありがとう！何でこのプロジェクトに参加したいと思った？

Ucca Laugh： Making music for a movie looked like fun so we decided to go for it.  And of course getting a chance to work with you and Kyle was a great perk too!
ユカ： 映画音楽が面白そうだったから！ しかも、超頑張ってるクリスやカイルと一緒に仕事してみたかったから！

Chris： Hehe thank you.  Can you tell me a little bit about the meaning of your song, “Hard Times?”
クリス： 笑。ありがとうね。作ってくれた曲について話そう！Hard Timesはどんな曲？

Ucca Laugh： Well, it’s a very earnest song about letting things go.  I really fell in love with it while we were arranging it.  It’s so invigorating!
ユカ： ひたむきな曲だよね。今回のアレンジを加えて、血気に頑張っていこうっていうメッセージも込められたかなと思うのでかなり気に入ってる！

Chris： How was the day you recorded the song?
クリス： カミラと録音した時のエピソードを聞きたい！スタジオはどうだった？

Ucca:  I really understood what a pro Camilla was while we were in the studio.  She practiced so much before coming and she was really ready to go out the gate.  I think you can hear that in the finished track.
ユカ： カミラのプロ根性を感じた！かなり一所懸命練習してきてたので、その瞬間をちゃんとレコーディングできたと思う！

Chris： Is there anything special that you would like to tell us about the way you arranged the song?
クリス： アレンジの面白いポイントは何でしたか？

Tomoko： I really wanted to see how far I could take the original song in a new direction.  I had so much fun while I made it and I am sure you can enjoy it while you listen too!
トモコ： 原曲からどのくらい変えていいのかなーと思いつつも、それを楽しみながら作った。

Chris： Was it difficult making the arrangement of this song?  I mean the original is folk!
クリス： アレンジする際に難しかった？原作はフォークだから本当にすごいと思う！

Tomoko： Well, considering this was our first track for a movie, it was all new to us!  That part was pretty difficult.  We also wanted to find a way to really use Camilla’s voice without overpowering the melody of the song.   I tried my hardest to create a song that was balanced and didn’t pull you out of the mix.
トモコ： カミラの声を生かして、メロディーの邪魔にならないような、あまり主張をしないトラック作りを心がけた！映画の音楽は初めてだったので、全てが新鮮でもあり、難しかった！

Chris： What do you have to say to someone who hasn’t had a chance to listen to Japanese music or your music?
クリス： 日本の音楽をあまり聞いたことない人や興味ない人にコメントをお願いします。

Ucca Laugh： I think that it’s more important to just worry about dancing and having fun.  Japanese music is still music, so don’t worry about the language and just enjoy!
ユカ： 日本語だからとボーダーラインを引かないで、とにかく感じてダンスして欲しいな！
