Marie

The daughter of Lucas’ landlord and his upstairs neighbor.  Even though she studied at an American university, she doesn’t seem to speak any English.

Yayoi Fujiwara as Marie

Yayoi Fujiwara is a Japanese actor. Born and raised in Tokyo, Yayoi embarked on her artistic journey in 2016 by studying fine arts at University of the Arts London and graduated with a BA in Performance: Design and Practice in 2019. Fujiwara continued her education at the New National Theatre Tokyo Drama Studio from 2020 until 2023. Her first feature film role will be Marie in the upcoming film Aichaku. She is fluent in both English and Japanese.

藤原弥生  

「芸術で社会に貢献したい。」という思いの元、イギリスの芸術大学へ留学。 在学時は総合舞台芸術を学ぶなかで、自身がパフォーマンスをすることに意欲が芽生えていく。 日本での芝居を学んだ経験が無かったため、卒業後、新国立劇場演劇研修所にて芝居を基礎から学ぶ。 4年間のイギリス留学の経験から英語を得意とし、「海外戯曲を扱う際は必ず原本を読み、英語で書かれた文献をもとに調べていく」 を心がけている。

藤原弥生の目標は「日本に限らず、国外でも活躍の場を広げ、世界中の人を笑顔にすること」
