Maria is the star of the show, and that includes battles.  Able to hit twice with her claws and grant any player additional hits with her essence magic series, she also has a great deal of combo attacks.  Combo points stack up as Maria hits the monsters and have a wide variety of effects.  Maria is perfect for long boss fights where she can easily rack up those combo points!
